Each person who happens to live in the city or who comes to visit it must come to the barracks and register himself, otherwise he'll be arrested for being a fugitive.
Taxes
Each citizen of Khorinis is obliged with paying taxes, currently it's 100 gold pieces per week.
Each person who's not a citizen is obliged with paying a tax for staying in the city, which is 30 gold pieces daily.
Each member of the Inquisition is obliged with a tax of 40 gold pieces per week.
Merchants are obliged with a tax of 20 gold pieces daily, every day of tax delaying will result in a debt increasing by 50 gold pieces.
Noncitizen merchants are obliged with a tax of 40 gold pieces daily, every day of tax delaying will result in a debt increasing by 70 gold pieces.
The taxes are being paid on SUNDAYS, whoever doesn't come to pay his tax will have a penalty. Regarding tax penalties, they depend on the delays, and are as following:
Tax Penalties
Individual who fails to pay his taxes in time after a week will be obliged with a 20% penalty.
Individual who fails to pay his taxes in time after two weeks will be obliged with a 50% penalty.
Individual who fails to pay his taxes in time after three weeks will be expelled from the city permanently.

You pay your taxes to Secretary Einar only, do not trust strangers who claim that they collect the taxes. Einar can be found in his house in the Upper Quarter, or in the Barracks.

Each member of the Inquisition gets paid weekly with gold and supplies depending on his rank.
Basic:
Acolyte - 70 gold pieces, 1 health potion, 7 bread loaves, 7 water bottles, 3 beers, 1 apple.
Military:
Soldier - 110 gold pieces, 2 bread loaves, 5 water bottles, 2 beers, 2 apples,
Sergeant - 200 gold pieces, 3 bread loaves, 5 water bottles, 4 beers, 2 apples, 1 wine bottle, 3 meat chunks.
Lieutenant - 350 gold pieces, 5 bread loaves, 5 water bottles, 5 beers, 3 apples, 3 wine bottles, 4 meat chunks, 1 ham chunk, 2 cheese pieces.
Captain - 500 gold pieces, 7 bread loaves, 5 water bottles, 7 beers, 5 apples, 4 wine bottles, 8 meat chunks, 2 ham chunks, 4 cheese pieces.
Monastery:
Novice - 85 gold pieces, 1 mana potion, 3 bread loaves, 3 water bottles, 1 apple.
Adept - 280 gold pieces, 2 mana potions, 5 bread loaves, 5 water bottles, 2 apples, 2 meat chunks.
Mage - 600 gold pieces, 3 mana potions, 7 bread loaves, 7 water bottles, 4 apples, 5 meat chunks, 2 ham chunks, 2 cheese pieces.

Individuals who are in service of the Inquisition must report to their superiors at least once a week, they can either report to Inquisitor Dommel, Governer Garwin, Captain Andreas, or Secretary Einar.
Those who fail to do so within 1 week will get a "Week of warning", 2nd week will cause rank downgrading, continuous weeks of absence will result in dropping to the lowest rank of an Acolyte. Also, "Week of warning" is a one-time matter, further absence will not be tolerated and granted with a "Week of warning".
